Integrated Surveillance and Defense, Inc. (ISD) Selected as Mission Systems Provider for US CBP MEA LI Program

[Wilsonville, Oregon, 10/16/2022]

Integrated Surveillance & Defense (ISD) is excited to announce its selection by Science and Engineering Services, LLC (SES) to serve as the Mission System Integrator (MSI) for the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Multirole Enforcement Aircraft Land Interdiction (MEA LI) program.

In late September 2022, SES secured a contract valued at $259.6 million from the US CBP to deliver up to nine MEA LI aircraft. This contract features an ordering period of up to five years and encompasses the provision of spare parts, training, and field service representatives to support the program.

For the initial delivery order, SES will receive $28.2 million to advance prototyping efforts. The selection of SES followed a rigorous competitive solicitation process that concluded four months prior.

The project will focus on the Super King Air 350, a medium-range, fixed-wing, twin turboprop aircraft. This new aircraft will enhance the capabilities of the current fleet used by U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Air and Marine Operations (AMO) for aerial patrol and surveillance missions over land.

Headquartered in Oregon, USA, ISD is an FAA-certified aerospace company renowned for its excellence in systems engineering, integration, and installation services.
