[Wilsonville, Oregon, 10/16/2022] Integrated Surveillance and Defense, Inc. (ISD), a frontrunner in advanced solutions for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) missions, proudly announces the successful completion of its third ISR system installation on the Royal Malaysian Air Force’s (RMAF) CN-235 aircraft.
This milestone was achieved under a US Government contract and in
partnership with the Naval Air Systems Command’s Security Cooperation Office and NAWCAD AIRWorks. ISD collaborated closely with program prime Science and Engineering Services, LLC (SES) and aircraft manufacturer Indonesian Aerospace (PTDI) to deliver a state-of-the-art maritime surveillance suite. The comprehensive system includes a maritime surveillance radar, an electro-optical infrared turret, a line-of-sight datalink, and a rollon/roll-off mission system operator station for three RMAF aircraft.
In addition, ISD will provide ground stations compatible with the data link as part of this initiative. These enhancements are set to significantly bolster the RMAF’s maritime domain awareness (MDA) capabilities.
